China's plastic knitting industry needs to speed up the development mode change

Qian Guijing pointed out that the plastic knitting industry is an important part of the plastics industry, as of the end of 2011, the country has more than 7,500 professional production enterprises of plastic knitting, the number of employees reached more than 500,000 people, with a variety of circular knitting machine more than 300,000 units, the annual integrated production capacity of about 15 million tons. According to the statistics of the Plastic Weaving Committee, in 2011, the national production of plastic woven products was 8.542 million tons, an increase of 21.06%, an increase of 2.01 percentage points lower than the previous year, with an output value of about 115 billion yuan. According to preliminary estimation, in 2011, the whole society produced about 12.1 million tons of plastic products, an increase of 23.5% year-on-year, with an output value of about RMB 132 billion. Its output has ranked first in the world.

At the same time, he pointed out that, while summarizing the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” achievements, we should calmly look at China's plastics processing industry and plastic knitting industry compared with advanced countries there is still a big gap. Plastic knitting industry is more prominent problems, one is the low concentration of production, small enterprises, small scale, in 2011 the industry has 7600 enterprises, the average size of only 1600 tons. Second, the product structure is unreasonable, the proportion of low-grade, due to the entry threshold is not high, further aggravated by the proportion of low-grade products, while representing the higher grade products such as tons of container bags accounted for only 11%. Third, overcapacity, low level, homogenization tendency is becoming more and more prominent. Enterprises “price war” is fierce, individual enterprises to reduce costs, the use of large quantities of recycled materials and filler to low-quality, low-priced products to hit the market, seriously affecting the industry's production and business order, jeopardizing the industry's product quality and reputation. Fourth, the technical force is weak, innovation is not strong, part of the enterprise technology and equipment backward.

Finally, Qian Guijing put forward several development proposals, the industry should accelerate the transformation of the development mode. Accelerate the adjustment and optimization of the structure; accelerate the cultivation and upgrading of industrial clusters in the plastic knitting industry; and strengthen the sense of social responsibility, strengthen the industry's self-discipline, regulate the market order, and do business in good faith.
